Nick Kucharewski is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Cisco’s silicon development organization. In this role, he is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, cross-functional execution, organization alignment, and product roadmap for Silicon One, Cisco’s uniquely scalable and programmable networking product family. Nick has over 25 years of experience in networking, spanning the evolution of the communications silicon market over the past three decades. He has worked as a chip design engineer, engineering manager, product manager, and General Manager. His work has contributed to silicon and software product innovations across AI & cloud infrastructure, wireless networking, optics, enterprise switching, carrier routing, and broadband access. Before joining Cisco in 2025, Nick was SVP and General Manager of Cloud Platforms and Network Switching at Marvell Technology. Prior to this, he led Wireless Infrastructure and Networking for Qualcomm. He spent over 10 years at Broadcom leading the switching product roadmap, including the first five generations of cloud switch products. Nick started his career with MMC Networks, a pioneer developing “standard-product” silicon for networking routers. Nick earned his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He holds patents in wireless communications, networking, and high-speed interconnect, and has published papers on co-packaged optics.
